Did you know that you can access your PlayStation 3 system's download history? If you're looking for an old game or just want to find out more about what content your PS3 downloaded, the answer is easy. You just need to know where to find it. First, go into Settings on your PS3 and then scroll down to the bottom of the list of tabs. There will be a tab called "System." After it's selected, select Memory Card Management and press X on the lower right corner of the screen. You should see Download History listed on the left side of the screen. Alternatively, if you are on your XMB (Cross Media Bar) go to the PlayStation Network icon. It is the third icon from the left, which looks like a PlayStation 3 controller. Move down until you see Settings and press X. Next you will see Memory Card Management, which is also represented by an icon of a memory card. Press X again to view your download history. Another way to access this feature is by going into Game in your XMB menu similar to before, but instead select Saved Data Utility (PS3). You will find Download History at the bottom left hand corner of this screen as well. You may notice that the full names for each game are not visible in your download history. However, if you look at the down right corner of each game, you will notice three letters that correspond to an icon displayed on the left side. These letters are an abbreviation of the game's title. For example, if I was downloading "BioShock 2", the D is actually the icon for "Downloadable Content" so I know it's BioShock 2. The following list shows what each letter corresponds to:By looking at your Download History you can easily see which games you have downloaded and how much space they take up on your hard drive. You can also use this feature to find which games you have not yet downloaded and what content is preventing you from doing so. If you notice any games listed as Downloadable Content, you can either download them or delete them. From your XMB go to the PlayStation Network icon on the left side, open it and select Game. Next, select Saved Data Utility (PS3), which is at the very bottom of the Sub-Store menu. At the bottom of this screen is Download History where you can see all of your downloads in one place. You will even see "Uninstalled" in this section if an older game has been uninstalled from your hard drive without being deleted from your Saved Data Utility (PS3). Also, games that are still in your download queue will be shown here as well. Just press Triangle to move those games to the top and start downloading them first. By looking at your Download History you can easily see which games you have downloaded and how much space they take up on your hard drive.
